We are excited to announce a new opportunity for an experienced Executive Headteacher to take strategic and operational responsibility for two specialist schools.
About the Schools
The three schools provide an alternative curriculum for young people aged 11-16 with a range of Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Most students have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) and may have diagnoses of ADHD or ASD. Additionally, the schools support a small number of students from local authority inclusion services who are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education.
Responsibilities of the Role
Lead the strategic direction of three schools, establishing policies and objectives to drive success.
Provide strong leadership, holding and articulating clear values with a focus on delivering excellent education for all pupils.
Work closely with senior leadership teams to embed a culture of success across both schools.
Oversee curriculum standards, teaching quality, and student progress, ensuring high expectations are met.
Manage safeguarding responsibilities in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education guidelines.
Lead school inspections, including compliance with independent school standards and Ofsted requirements.
Drive continuous improvement through regular review of systems, teaching, and learning outcomes.
Manage staff development, resources, and school budgets effectively.
